Alaska does not have much higher education geared towards CNC machinist specifically. Your best bet is to look at different oil field companies that will have apprenticeship programs that you can join. Pay is much higher than the lower 48 due the remote location and lack of machinist talent in Alaska. With the mining, oil/gas, and other heavy metal industries there is a high demand for even apprentice machinist.
Only offers courses in CNC Machining as part of the overall ME degree.
